Acceptable Use Policies

1. Summary. Sprout the Open Content Agriculture Platform (“Sprout”) hosts a wide variety of content projects from all over the world that are freely available for Users to use, but this only works when Users who provide Content and Users who use content work together in good faith. Sprout also allows the Users to upload User Data on their accounts which is beneficial for their own internal use and is not accessible to the public. While using the Service, you must comply with our Acceptable Use Policies, which include some restrictions on content you can post, conduct on the service, and other limitations. Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Acceptable Use Policies have the meanings assigned to them in our Terms of Service and Compliance with the Applicable Laws and Regulations. You are responsible for using the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and all of our Acceptable Use Policies. These policies may be updated from time to time and are provided below, as well as in our Terms of Service. 

2. Content Restrictions. Under no circumstances will Users upload, post, host, execute, or transmit any Content that:

   1. is unlawful or promotes unlawful activities under the Applicable Law;

   2. is or contains sexually obscene content;

   3. is libelous, defamatory, or fraudulent;

   4. is discriminatory or abusive toward any individual or group;

   5. gratuitously depicts or glorifies violence, including violent images;

   6. is or contains false, inaccurate, or intentionally deceptive information that is likely to adversely affect the public interest (including health, safety, election integrity, and civic participation); or

   7. infringes any proprietary right of any party, including patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other  right.

You may only use content provided, uploaded and documented by Users under the Content Agreement Terms of Use designated by the User. 

1. Service Usage Limits. You will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without our express written permission.

2. User Protection. You must not engage in activity that significantly harms other users. We will resolve disputes in favor of protecting users as a whole.
